After tearing into our documentation and taking a deeper look at our data model, I realized that what seemed like a wide range of Dimensions, Measures, and Metric types was actually a limited set that was much easier to learn than I had previously realized.

I created a library of glyphs that represent each of these actions and content types.
The different colors help you identify the content type and the glyphs represent thier name.
Taking it to the product.
I talked with the product team about how we might use these glyphs as a wayfinding system to help demistify our graphing database. Today these glyphs are commonplace throughout the product.
